Our current class of Civic Saturday Fellows
Fellows represent the web of identities and ideologies that make this country so vibrant. Our current class of Fellows participated in Citizen University’s training, Civic Seminary, in autumn of 2024. Fellow Feature: Cohort 25
“While I Breathe, I Hope.” The motto of South Carolina is still ringing in our ears, after Katy Smith shared it with us during Civic Seminary. This group got to take a breath together — and rekindle our hope.
These are civic catalysts who’ve learned and practiced ways of bringing their communities together to build trust, make sense of the challenges facing our nation, and build commitment to addressing them.
Cohort 25 of our Civic Saturday Fellowship is now traveling back to their homes, soon to design gatherings that fit the flavor of their neighborhoods. From civic cafes, to building community on a ranch, to nonprofit leaders on their lunch break… they’re bringing creativity and dedication to these civic gatherings. They are building a stronger culture of commitment, responsibility-taking, and citizenship. Cheers to you, cohort 25!
