You’ll find reflection, rejuvenation, and reconnection at Homecoming 2025.

Remember the feeling of joining this Citizen University community for the first time? The energy of discovering kindred civic spirits? The shared wisdom and mutual support? Imagine that experience expanded across programs, across generations, across modes and methods. This gathering will help us see the brilliance that emerges as we form constellations with one another — and the inspiration and meaning we can find by knowing how we’re connected.

Homecoming will be a time to connect, exhale, listen, and be heard. To recharge and recommit to activating citizenship together, as a dynamic, wise, bold, strong, catalytic force. To not only learn from each other, but to enliven each other.

Whether you’ve been actively engaged or are looking to jump back in, we want you here…because these times are calling on us and imploring us “to be of use” (thank you, Marge Piercy). We need each other as thought partners, cheerleaders, co-conspirators and co-creators — now more than ever — to continue the urgent and important work of claiming our central creed and co-creating democracy.
