Ready for your trip to Seattle? This page will help you plan to navigate the city.
Where’s the hotel?
If you’re coming in from out of town, you’ll be staying at either the CitizenM or the Astra Hotel in the vibrant (and SUPER walkable) South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle. If you’re not sure which hotel you’re at, contact Brooke – her info is at the bottom.

How do I get from the airport to hotel?
Take public transit from the airport to the hotel.
- Time: ~ 1 to 1.5 hours
- Total cost: ~ $5.25
- STEP 1 — At the airport, follow signs for the Link Light Rail. You’ll take the 1-Line headed toward Northgate. (Trains depart every 8-10 minutes most of the day. Pay your $3.00 fare before getting on the Light Rail.)
- STEP 2 — Get off at the Westlake Station — you can either walk the 0.6 miles to the hotel, or transfer to the South Lake Union Streetcar. To do that, you’ll hop on at the Westlake & Olive stop. (Streetcars depart every 12-15 minutes. Pay the $2.25 fare at the station before getting on the Streetcar.)
- STEP 3 — Jump off the Streetcar at the Westlake & 9th-Denny stop for CitizenM, or Westlake & Thomas for Astra, and then it’s just one block (3 minute walk) to reach your respective hotel!
Or, ride in an Uber or Lyft.
- Time: ~ 25 to 50 minutes
- Cost: ~ $60 to $70. Note, this is at your own expense unless you’ve spoken to us about accessibility needs.
- Follow signs to rideshare pick up in the 3rd floor of the parking garage.
A note on accessibility:
Seattle public transit is reliable, but not for the weak soled! From Baggage Claim to the Light Rail station there is 5-10 minutes of walking involved. During prime time for flights, SEA offers golf cart shuttle service between the skybridge to the station — inquire at an information desk at the airport for pickup location. Each Light Rail station has elevators and escalators; the websites above will have updates on outages.
Where is the Power + Character venue?
The Armory Lofts at Seattle City Center are just a flat half mile away from the hotel – just head towards the space needle!

How do I get there from the hotel?
It’s a ~16 minute walk. If this would be difficult for you, call or text Davis about alternatives at (425) 329-9997.
Where is the Homecoming venue?
Seattle Unity is just one block away from the hotel and will be our home for the weekend — including meals! If you’ll be driving, there is a free parking garage under the building.
