Sandra D. Jackson-Dumont is the Kayla Skinner Deputy Director for Education and Public Programs/adjunct curator in the Modern and Contemporary Art Department at the Seattle Art Museum. She oversees the curation of experiences for the museum’s collection and exhibitions that engage broad audiences through the development, implementation and promotion of a diverse platform of innovative educational, film and public programming. She serves as one of 16 members of the Seattle Arts Commission, citizen volunteers appointed by the Mayor and City Council. Jackson-Dumont is also an independent writer/curator/cultural producer.
